Dear Academy Parents & Players,
Happy New Year and hope this message finds everyone well. As many of you have probably noticed, we have entered 2018 with some scheduling and location changes. A creature of habit myself, I know that change can take some getting used to. Therefore I wanted to clarify and acknowledge all of the changes so there is no confusion moving forward.
Locations Changes
As was reported in various emails over the last 45 days, our home base of operation has moved from Crunch Fitness in Eagle to Capital Christian Church in Meridian. Due to the ongoing construction and the deteriorating quality of the court, we felt it was time for a change. Capital has a brand new wood floor and is a significant upgrade over what we have been training on at Crunch. Please note – we will still be holding some group and private sessions in Eagle, but on an adjusted schedule.
Additional changes to be aware of – we have added both Fundamentals and Triple Threat classes at Axiom in Boise, to accommodate our families in the north end and east side of the valley. All schedule changes and additions are listed below. For reference, Meridian on the schedule is Capital Christian and S. Meridian is the Axiom off I-84.

Final schedule tweaks and adjustments have been made. Please note our new schedule will take effect immediately. Classes will now meet at four Treasure Valley locations on the following schedule:

Coach Mike will train in Boise, Meridian, and Eagle. I will train in Meridian, S. Meridian, and Eagle. As you can see I will now be running Pre-Season classes Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and look forward to getting to work more with some of our older athletes. Again to avoid any confusion, please note Meridian is Capital Christian and S. Meridian is Axiom off I-84.
Game Sessions
All Game Sessions will now be held at Capital Christian in Meridian. The church has a brand new wood floor and will provide an excellent venue for full court game play. Based on popularity, space for these sessions will be limited so make sure you are signing up early.
Private Sessions
Private sessions are available for those in need. Coach Tyray will be spending the winter and spring in Boise and will have availability for those that would like to train with him. Coach Mike currently has a few openings and I may have some time on Saturday, although availability will be extremely limited. Please remember these sessions are booked on a first come first served basis. For more information or to schedule a session you can contact us at info@hsbacademy.com.
Rewards Program
Just a reminder for those that are unaware, you can get paid for bringing your friends to train. Members will receive a referral credit for everyone they bring to the Academy that signs up. You the parents and players have been our main source of marketing over the years. We appreciate you and want to reward you for your help spreading the word. If you are planning to bring someone to the academy make sure you let us know so you receive your reward when they sign up.
HSB Academy App
We are now operating off a new version of the HSB Academy app. It appears that all of the issues with the old version have been rectified. Please make sure that you are signing up for classes and not just showing up. It helps ensure classes start on time and are not exceeding appropriate player to coach ratios.
Sick Players
We love seeing all of you but if you are not feeling well please stay home. There are a lot of weird bugs that go around this time of year and we want to keep everyone as healthy as possible.
2018 Summer Camps
Our 2018 summer camp schedule is up. Registration links are live and people have already started signing up. 2017 was our largest year on record and we are expecting increased demand in 2018. Availability is always limited by the size of the facility and camps do fill up quickly. For more information or to register visit www.hsbcamps.com. Remember the camps now work off a new registration system so if you have not done so already you will need to create a new Sports Engine account.
